About WA Gas Networks

WA Gas Networks Pty Ltd is the owner of the majority of the reticulated gas infrastructure in Western Australia. Our gas reticulation networks serve Geraldton, Kalgoorlie, Albany, Bunbury, Busselton, Harvey, Pinjarra, Brunswick Junction, Capel and the Perth Greater Metropolitan Area including Mandurah. These combined networks constitute approximately 12,000km of gas mains and associated infrastructure.

Over the last five years the annual growth of these networks has been approximately 260km with an average annual new customer connection rate of 20,000.

WA Network Holdings Pty Ltd, owner of WA Gas Networks Pty Ltd is 74.1% owned by Prime Infrastructure (ASX: PIH) with the remaining 25.9% owned by Diversified Utility Energy Trusts (ASX: DUE).

WestNet Energy provides asset management, operational, construction and maintenance services to the owners of the WA Gas Networks gas distribution system.
